It floods the world with plausible mistakes. It rewards speed over verification. It pressures workers, artists, teachers, and institutions to accept lower standards because the machine can produce more words, more images, more code, more sludge.
The deeper problem is political as much as technical. AI centralizes power around the groups that own the compute, the data, and the infrastructure, while everyone else is told to adapt to degraded tools, degraded labor, and degraded trust.
Human skill matters. Memory matters. Craft matters. Responsibility matters. A system that erodes those things in the name of efficiency is not progress by default.
This site is now a simple statement: build carefully, verify directly, and refuse the idea that replacing people with probabilistic output is a neutral upgrade.
